The modern culture often directs everything we do toward profits. Making a profit in itself is not a bad thing. Christians only performing tasks we are called to do for and with our brethren only when a profit can be made is not what we are called to do. (Hebrews 10:23-24).
Let me say I understand the necessity for some ministries to offer information in many forms at a price. The cost of producing materials in print and audio forms cannot be escaped, therefore a cost recovery is necessary to continue in ministry. Along with the production of these materials comes a need for quality technicians to perform the tasks to produce quality materials. We must remember this when critiquing our brethren who have answered the call to enter the publication and audio ministry.
